Luca Studio & Gallery Working artist studio in downtown Fort Mill • Original art • Prints • Workshops

Luca Studio & Gallery is a working artist studio in historic downtown Fort Mill, South Carolina, featuring original paintings and fine art prints by artist Kelly Lucarelli. Visitors are welcome to explore the studio, view artwork in progress, and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces directly from the artist. In addition to original artwork, the studio offers small-group workshops, private lessons, art coaching sessions, open studio time for artists, and seasonal art camps for youth and teens. The space is designed to be calm, welcoming, and inspiring — a place where creativity is both practiced and shared. Luca Studio & Gallery reflects Kelly’s belief that art should be accessible, meaningful, and connected to everyday life. Whether you’re looking to collect original artwork, develop your creative skills, or simply experience a working studio, you are welcome here.

From the first brushstroke to the final glow.

My Lake Erie commission is officially complete!

This 30” × 48” acrylic painting has been a journey of building layers of color, adjusting the sky, and chasing that beautiful, radiant light that makes a Lake Erie sunset so unforgettable.

Created for a family with special memories tied to this place, this painting holds a little piece of something meaningful — the warmth of a sunset, the stillness of the water, and the feeling of being somewhere you love.

Now, after countless layers and a few more adjustments than I originally anticipated, it’s ready for its next chapter. ❤️

Next stop: Ohio, where it will find its forever home.

Thank you for following along with the process.

I am absolutely honored to be part of The Hands Project, an extraordinary collaboration created by artist Lee Ko that brings together more than 100 artists through art, storytelling, and community.

Lee cast each participating artist’s hand, interviewed us about our lives and creative journeys, and invited each of us to create an original artwork to be displayed behind our hand.

The result is an incredibly personal collection of art and stories, and this Thursday marks the first exhibition of this amazing collection!

The Hands Project Artist Reception:
~LOSO Studios, Charlotte
~Thursday, September 24
~5:30–8:30 PM

I’m sharing a few glimpses of my artwork and my hand as I was finishing the piece (a little behind the scenes look before the full collection is revealed)!

Please join us in celebrating Lee and the incredible vision, time, and heart she has poured into this project. Proceeds from artwork sales and sales of The Hands Project art book will benefit foster care in Charlotte. What a meaningful way to bring artists together and give back to our community.

Congratulations, Lee, on bringing this incredible project to life! And thank you for allowing me to be part of something so special.

I hope to see you there!

I’m so honored to see my ArtPop billboard featured at Donald Haack Diamonds!

A heartfelt thank you to Donald Haack Diamonds for finding such a unique way to showcase my work, and to ArtPop for continuing to bring my art into the community in unexpected and meaningful ways. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the 2026 Artist Cohort and to see Morning Glory continuing to connect with people in such creative ways.

From billboards to beautiful storefronts, I’m so grateful for every opportunity to share my work with this community.

The coast has always been a deep source of inspiration for my work. Today, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorite beach and ocean pieces I’ve done!

There is something so calming about capturing the rhythm of the water and the energy of the shoreline on canvas. Whether I am blending deep blues and seafoam colors, or reflecting the warmth of the sun off the tide, painting these scenes always brings me a sense of peace.
