These two photographs show the first W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co. factory, purchased in 1914 after outgrowing Walter A. Sheaffer’s jewelry store on Avenue G. Located on the corner of Avenue H and Fourth Street, the building, formerly a creamery and bakery, was eventually completely remodeled and housed the company's research laboratory and personnel office.
