Step into the unsettling world of Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s The Yellow Wallpaper—a chilling tale of isolation, control, and a woman’s descent into obsession with the strange wallpaper surrounding her.

Through a dramatic reading, by Elizabeth Critz, the haunting short story is brought to life.

An intimate evening of literature, psychological horror, and thought-provoking storytelling at the Fort Madison Art Center.

We are saddened for our exhibiting artist, Ann Canida, and the passing of her father, Alan Ball, this week... Our hearts and sympathy go out to her and her family during this sad time.

We missed her yesterday during our lunch ala art gallery talk, but took the time to look closely at the multimedia media techniques Ann Canida employs in her work, the origins of multimedia as an art form, and to orient her work in the spectrum of this art form.

These poignant pieces reflect the beauty we find all around us.
