Our dear Carol Whiteis passed just a few days ago. Words do not describe the sadness at not being able to ask her questions. Or here her quick witted banter with us. SHE WAS SUCH A GIFT TO WINNEBAGO HISTORICAL SOCIETY . We had her for a time. Her impact will continue. Her service will be held at her beloved Beaver creek church in Heritage Park of North Iowa in June . With her favorite coffee and cinnamon rolls and other pastries.
