Exciting news for Franklin County, VA history lovers!

📚✨ Vanishing Schools of Franklin County is officially available!
Beautifully written by local authors, Abe and Benny Gibson, this book is based on the popular exhibit at the BRIM. It brings to life the stories, memories, and photographs of the historic schoolhouses that shaped our community's education and heritage.
We are so proud to celebrate this piece of local history.

This Sunday, November 1st, is also the Glade Hill Elementary Alumni Reunion at the school cafeteria from 1-4.

Thank you for always being so good to us, Emma❤️. Our dear friend and volunteer, Emma Perdue Parcell, left this world on Monday. She was a helper--either helping to make loaves of bread in the bake oven at the Blue Ridge Folklife Festival or seen here, making our front entrance flower bed so special🌺. You will be missed😔.
