Rain or Shine, we'll hold the last Free Outdoor Concert of the Season at Pricketts Fort tonight, Friday, August 7th at 7PM. If it rains we'll be inside the Visitor Center at Pricketts Fort so plan to come on out for a fun evening of free entertainment!

There is just one more Colonial Kids Day at Pricketts Fort this summer!
📆Wednesday, August 5th📆Activities for the kids will be scattered throughout the day from 10:30am to 3pm so come on out for some fun! You can even get lunch (or ice cream) at The Junction Cafe right here in the park and make a whole day of it!

This special day allows the kids to experience what life was like on the Western Virginia Frontier 250 years ago through fun hands on activities! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Regular admission applies. Tickets include a tour of the Fort and Job Prickett House in addition to all special activities listed. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for children ages 6 –12 (Children under 6 and members of the Pricketts Fort Memorial Foundation are FREE).

Join us for the last Free Outdoor Concert of the season at Prickett's Fort State Park's Amphitheater on Friday, August 7 with Nic of Tyme from 7-8:30pm.

Nic of Tyme can play old school rock, golden oldies, or a classic country song. With soaring vocals, tight harmonies and excellent musicianship they all come together for a new sound, but a sound rooted in the past.

The 2026 concert series is provided to the public free of charge through the generous support of the Marion County Commission, the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Marion County, the Town of White Hall, the First Energy Foundation, and Susan Currey.
The Pricketts Fort Memorial Foundation appreciates this ongoing support of the performing arts and the promotion of tourism events in our community.

Hearth Cooking Demonstrations with Michael Dragoo at Pricketts Fort are this weekend, starting today! July 18th and 19th - Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday Noon to 4pm. Regular admissions applies. Tickets are only sold in the Gift Shop at the time of your visit.
