Attention to all parents of car riders or walkers.

This updated information only pertains to those students who need to cross from behind the San Jacinto Auditorium to either Clay Street or Belknap Street.

Crosswalks are required to be used when crossing streets around the AMS campus.

When present, Crosswalking Guards, Administration, Faculty Members and Police control traffic and students when crossing.

DISTRICT-ISSUED DEVICE INFO FOR ALAMO FAMILIES

Our 6th graders are getting ready to take their district-issued devices home! Here are the important dates families need to know:

📅 TUESDAY, AUGUST 18 - Chromebook Orientation
Students will review device expectations and learn how to properly care for and use their devices.

📅 WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19 - Device Day!
Students will receive their district-issued device to take home. Devices should be charged overnight and brought to school every day.

📅 THURSDAY, AUGUST 20 — IMPORTANT! ⚠️
Students must bring their charged device to school. During GMA, students will set their own device password.

Please take a moment to review the information in the flyer so your Lion is ready for a successful year with their district-issued device.

🦁 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: WE DID IT! 🎉
What a day for our 6th graders! Today they took on a BIG transition—moving from an intermediate setting to changing classes with every bell, finding their way through a historic three-story building, navigating to classes in the outer buildings, and, perhaps most importantly, figuring out who to sit with at lunch!

SO. MANY. HAPPY. FACES. ❤️ There were new friends, new routines, a few wrong turns, lots of questions, and plenty of smiles. They may not have every hallway mastered just yet, but they're already proving that they are ready for this next adventure.
