45 years ago, on May 26 1977’s.. George human fly Willig, climbed the World Trade Center, people asked him a question why he did that, and he told us that these two towers were very attractive and beautiful, so he wanted to feel pleasure from the twins, and so it happened, he succeeded..

Let me remind you, that the total height of the South Tower was 1,362 feet.. Each tower had 110 floors, The complex contained 13,400,000 square feet (1,240,000 m2) of office space..

Rare photograps, taken of people during the terrorists attack on Tuesday, September 11th 2001.. / β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

The September 11 attacks, commonly known as 9/11, were a series of four coordinated suiciide terrorist attacks carried out by the militant Islamic extremist network al-Qaeda against the United States. On the morning of Tuesday September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists hijacked four commercial airliners mid-flight while traveling from the northeastern U.S. to California. The attackers were organized into three groups of five members and one group of four, with each group including one designated flight-trained hijacker who took control of the aircraft. Their goal was to crash the planes into prominent American buildings, inflicting mass casualties and major structural damage. The hijackers successfully crashed the first two planes into the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, and the third plane into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth plane was intended to hit a federal government building[d] in Washington, D.C., but instead crashed down outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania following a passenger revolt that foiled the attack. The four attacks killed a total of nearly 3,000 people and injured about 25,000 more.

Early on the morning of September 11, 2001, 19 hijackers took control of four commercial airliners (two Boeing 757s and two Boeing 767s) en route to California (three of them headed to LAX in Los Angeles and one to SFO in San Francisco) after takeoffs from Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts; Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey; and Washington Dulles International Airport in Loudoun and Fairfax counties in Virginia. Large planes with long coast-to-coast flights were selected for hijacking because they would have more fuel..

The grand opening of the original World Trade Center took place in on April 4, 1973’s.. πŸŒŽπŸ’—

Construction of the World Trade Center began on August 5, 1966’s, under the auspices of the Port of New York Authority (later known as the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey). The agency csought to create a contemporary international trade and business Hub that would revitalize the economy of and the metropolitan region.

The first tenants moved into 1 World Trade Center (North Tower) in December 1970’s and into 2 World Trade Center (South Tower) 13 months later, before construction of either skyscraper had been completed. The world's tallest buildings were dedicated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on β€žApril 4, 1973’s”. This stainless steel pedestal was installed on the five acre Plaza to commemorate the occasion.

back in 1973’s.. many openly wondered how its owner, , were even going to attract tenants..

At 110 stories each, "The Twin Towers" provided nearly 10 million square feet of office space. Reaching over a quarter of a mile into the sky, they were the tallest buildings in NYC, and for a brief period, they were the tallest buildings in the world.

Minor Yamasaki, the architect who designed the original WTC, said that the World Trade Center should "become a living representation of man's belief in humanity, his need for individual dignity, his beliefs in the cooperation of men, and through cooperation, his ability to find greatness." ❀️
