Just TWO DAYS AWAY! Join us on June 3rd from 6-8pm for an evening of art, cocktails, and community.

Your $25 ticket includes gallery access, drinks, and light bites, all while supporting the new Teen Art Program launching Fall 2026 at Elmhurst Art Museum.

This program empowers local teens to explore contemporary art beyond the classroom, connect with peers, and see themselves as part of a creative community. Through hands-on experiences and exposure to working artists and art careers, participants don’t just learn about art, they create it, share it, and lead with it.

Together, we’re building a space where teens can: Connect with peers in an inclusive environment
Learn from contemporary artists and ideas
Create and share their own work
Lead by shaping a final showcase of their vision

Come raise a glass and help shape the future of art! 🩷🎨

Think less, play more. Join us for this collaborative abstract painting workshop on Sunday, June 14 from 1-4PM.

This workshop is all about experimentation, exploration, and shared creation. Through a mix of individual exercises and large-scale collective works, you’ll embrace surprise, let go of control, and learn to respond to instinct, emotion, and movement rather than technical perfection. Step out of your head... and into the chaos!

Tickets are $65 and can be purchased at the link in our bio! 🎨🩷🖼️

In 2026, what should monuments be made of—and what should they be about? In this participatory drawing and collage workshop, we’ll explore the kinds of images, stories, and materials that shape our attention today, both online and IRL. What content do we return to again and again? Which memes circulate endlessly, and which moments or ideas actually stick in our long-term memory? Together we’ll consider what themes—social, cultural, personal, or political—feel urgent enough to be made visible in public space.

Join exhibiting artist Jeremiah Hulsebos-Spofford for a hands-on mixed-media session that uses drawing and collage as tools to collectively imagine and remix new forms of monuments for the future.

This event is made possible through a grant from the JCS Arts, Health and Education Fund of

During a visit to Northwest Middle School in Chicago, our Education team brought in pieces from the museum’s permanent collection through our Mobile Museum initiative!

Students learned what Contemporary Art is and practiced art interpretation strategies as they discussed the works. Then, they created their own contemporary portrait inspired by a print by artist, collector, and one of EAM’s founders, Eleanor King Hookham.

If you are interested in bringing Mobile Museum to your school or organization, please reach out to our Education
