🎨An "Abundance" of artwork coming to the EFA Gallery in June🎨
Join us for Gallery Opening on Thursday, June 4th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will remain up for viewers through the month of June.
Abundance! A Celebratory Display of Nature’s Bounty, featuring the work of Oklahoma artists Sharon Sudduth and Marie Kash Weltzheimer. The exhibition premiers with a Gallery Opening on Thursday, June 4th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will remain up for viewers through the month of June.
Based in Enid, Oklahoma, Sharon Sudduth is a representational painter known for her large-scale floral paintings and expressive portraits. Primarily self-taught, Sudduth began painting in 2012 and later adopted oils and the alla prima (wet-into-wet) technique in 2018. Her fascination with light, form, and color fuels a vibrant and intuitive painting style that has earned recognition across the Midwest. Her joyful works have been collected by art enthusiasts from coast to coast.
Edmond artist Marie Kash Weltzheimer has enjoyed a flourishing artistic career since 1988 and is celebrated for her luminous pastel and oil paintings inspired by music, nature, and the beauty of everyday life. A Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and a Master Circle Artist with the International Association of Pastel Societies, Weltzheimer’s award-winning work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured in numerous publications. Through symbolic still lifes and lyrical portraits, her work reflects themes of family, belonging, hope, and human connection.
