Cooking and Sharing Club - 6PM, 3rd Tuesday of every month

We had another fun and tasty Cooking Club get-together. The Theme was Greek food. Each dish was a 1st for the cook and the telling of the process was fun to hear. Nancy spent hours making stuffed grape leaves from scratch, and of course you can’t buy grape leaves in East Liverpool but that didn’t stop her. Wow, just delicious. That was the first time I ever ate stuffed grape leaves that didn’t come out of a can. No comparison.

Sandra made Greek Zucchini Fritters, very similar to the Italian Pitticelle which is a reminder that all those calorie free Zucchini disappear quickly when battered and fried.

All the dishes were tasty and the stories fun.

Next month as we celebrate America-250, the theme will be …. Anything Red, White, Blue or a combination.

Come join us July 21st at 6 PM.
