A new 100-foot mural by artist brings the history and breakthroughs of pharmacy to life in the University of Michigan’s new College of Pharmacy building.⁠

The mixed-media work offers an exploration of the field, composed of warm earth tones inspired by past issues of InterActions, the college’s former publication, alongside archival images displayed on small canvases throughout the mural.⁠

Join us for the opening reception of π„π―πžπ«π₯𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐒𝐧𝐠 π‹π’πŸπž, a landmark exhibition by artist , presented by Library Street Collective at .

π„π―πžπ«π₯𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐒𝐧𝐠 π‹π’πŸπž brings together Guyton’s iconic Faces, the Penny Car from Heidelberg Street, and a site-specific floor installation that transforms the Shepherd galleries. The exhibition also features new paintings and mixed-media works, alongside a selection of unique monoprints.

Scott Avery will premiere three new moving-image works exploring the relationship between human intervention and programmed systems, alongside the release of his new techno EP of the same name.⁠

Doors open at 5pm with a DJ set by Goddess.. The screening begins at 7pm, presenting the three videos: System Drift, Error State and Unknown Operator. Avery performs a live set from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., with the works running throughout the set and continuing afterward.⁠

Occupying the Shepherd’s indoor galleries and extending outdoors with the iconic Penny Car from Heidelberg Street, it marks one of the most significant presentations of Guyton’s work in decades.⁠
