Scott Avery will premiere three new moving-image works exploring the relationship between human intervention and programmed systems, alongside the release of his new techno EP of the same name.⁠
⁠
Doors open at 5pm with a DJ set by Goddess.. The screening begins at 7pm, presenting the three videos: System Drift, Error State and Unknown Operator. Avery performs a live set from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., with the works running throughout the set and continuing afterward.⁠

Akea Brionne’s (akea brionne) first solo museum exhibition features a new body of large-scale textile works inspired by the African Diaspora, blending photography, digital weaving, and hand-applied materials to create immersive Afrosurreal landscapes. Centered on a mythical forest as a site of refuge, the exhibition invites viewers to rest, reflect, and commune.⁠

Occupying the Shepherd’s indoor galleries and extending outdoors with the iconic Penny Car from Heidelberg Street, it marks one of the most significant presentations of Guyton’s work in decades.⁠

Lopez’s work explores ranch architecture embedded within the militarized landscape of White Sands Missile Range in south-central New Mexico. The works began as graphite rubbings on paper and were later transformed into UV-cured acrylic pigment prints on adobe.⁠
