Currently, our hours are June and September: Sundays 1-5 p.m. July & August: Saturday & Sundays 1-5 p.m., but are subject to change depending on availability of volunteer staffing. I was giving a tour a couple of weeks ago to Sara Ashley and Jeff Baurs. Sara asked where Dr. Bernard was buried. The following pictures are before/after pictures of Dr. Prosper G Bernard, his wife Esther, his father Robert F and his mother Emily Ann. Enjoy the transformation with the bushes being trimmed by Prairieville township and stones incredibly cleaned by Sara Ashley. Thank-you!

The Bernard Historical Society and Museum is proud to announce our very first calendar! The cover is a reproduction of a mural painted for us by Jessica Kroes Cooper and each month shows a vintage photo of a glass slide or antique postcard, most from a local area. The calendars cost $20 and are available now at the Delton District Library. They will also be for sale at Shop Small Saturday and Delton’s Hometown Christmas at the Museum’s table at the library, or contact the museum at 269 623-3565 or bernardmuseum.org.

09/14/2018

Please join us tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, 9 am - noon, for a work bee.

My mother-in-law use to do a lot of typing and work for Dr. Barnard and he rewarded her with a silver art piece.for her work. Iwish I knew where it ended up.Her name was Louise Buehler and I know a lot of people knew her.
~ The Bernard family plot in Prairieville Cemetery got a facelift today! The stones have been hidden for years underneath two trees/shrubs. The shrubs were trimmed exposing some VERY dirty stones. These are the before and after pictures of the “spruce up”. 😁
Come on down and say hello.
We are open today from 1-5. Come see us!
