Congrats to Jeffrey Sitcov for guiding the 'Doors of Change' for 25 wonderful years to help older teens and young 20 somethings to navigate adulthood. The 'Concert of Hope' event, held at the Escondido Art Center, was a huge success. The hors d'oeuvres dinner and silent and live auctions were tons of fun. Many thousands of dollars were raised, and even some Seewald paintings and photography workshops sold for big bucks. The headliner for the concert was the tribute band PettyBreakers, of Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers fame.

This Marine corporal and his wife came into the gallery and we’re very surprised that America was waiting to bless them. Thanks to Pat and Bess Wakeman for sponsoring the piece, these two will love it for the rest of their life. Photo of a seascape in Encinitas I made back in the 80s.
Search “art for Marines” on GoFundMe to donate. Donating $100 will purchase a $200 framed photograph for an active duty Marine. If you’d like, your name is included as part of the title. We Thank you from them now, but they will really be thankful when they receive this gift from you.
