I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.

Today is the day! The UART 2023 Online Pastel Competition is now OPEN! We are giving away 10 awards this year, totaling over $6,000 in cash and prizes.

The competition is open from May 3rd to June 7th, 2023. Only 50 paintings will be selected and accepted into the show. The 10 winners will be announced on June 22nd, 2023. Please be sure to read and follow the rules before submitting your painting.

Our competition this year will be juried by Desmond O’Hagan. Desmond has been professionally painting for 35 years and resides in Denver, Colorado, where he devotes his time to his art in oils and pastels and traveling throughout the world.

We are thrilled to see the incredible talent each of you will bring to this competition!
