The page shows pictures on 99% of everything I make Sometimes all the steps are shown in pictures or video. I tell when my Craft Shows are.

I will be showing my Stained Glass work, confectionary decorating and some music from the piano (Wedding type) Let people know when my Shows are this upcoming year. Glass is shown and I tell what type of glass or texture, and even color. It is hard to describe sometimes, because it is Best to see it. Camera pics don't always show the Beauty of the Glass. I work out of my home, my Dining Table is my Main Work Table on BIG Projects. I learned how to do Stained Glass 28 years ago by taking 3 type of classes. Trial and Error throughout the years, working on projects as Small like Christmas Ornaments and Suncatcher's to Large Projects like Tiffany Lamp Shades and 96" Long Glass Panels. Cake Decorating, I'm still learning as I go, Youtube Videos are Very Helpful. Wedding Cakes are my Favorite because you can do So Much Creative decorating and shapes. I just Love to Do SO many Things! Not enough TIME in My Day for Everything!

I did this Smash Cake for a Little Girl’s first birthday. Very Cute Idea, mother sent me a picture of the cake she wanted done. I made the hens and flowers from fondant. 6” White Cake with Buttercream frosting. My first time doing buttercream ruffles. I had enough batter left to see what a 4” cake would be like. It came out good too, just less hens and flowers.

A cake I just finished yesterday. The Theme is a Hunting Dog and Duck Hunting. The Dog is suppose to look like their own dog (not sure about that?), but did the best I could via a photo. After baking the cakes the first day, the second day was started on the dog topper. A hard Rice Krispie Treat type mixture was made (no butter added), then formed and compacted into the body snd head of the dog. A chocolate ganache was made to spread over it all to harden as a base for Fondant. Fondant covering, along with the eyes, legs and feet was done. 3rd day was making the duck and bullets (out of Fondant and Gumpaste. I mixed about 3 to 4 different colors of fondant, marbleizing it to make a variegated look for the ducks body. The 4th day was making the Fondant Grass and covering the cakes with the Chocolate Buttercresm frosting. 5th day was adding the buttercream hair onto the dog and assembling it all. A cute Idea for a Birthday Party!

Our Campsite View of the St. Lawrence River. Beautiful Sunsets 4 of the 5 nights camping. Canada across from us. The Thousand Island area of the St. Lawrence is where the State Park is. (Wellesley Island)

Just got back from New York, gone for 12 days (visited daughter and family plus camped on the St. Lawrence River). I took 4 Monarch Chrysali, wrapped them in Kleenex and in a little box. I knew they possibly would emerge into a Butterfly while we were camping. I also hoped that being shut up in a box for 5 to 6 days before hanging them in the Net Cage last Tuesday, they would be Okay snd still come out as Butterflies?! The first one came out this past Friday (released it at our campsite on Wellesley Island near the Canada Border) The Second was released at Wendy’s House in Castorland, New York on Sunday, and the 3rd and 4th came out while driving home from Buffalo, New York, yesterday. Last 2 was released here at home last night. So the first 2 will have a longer flight to Mexico! Amazing! Probably a total of 60 Butterflies this year, most came from my backyard, starting as eggs placed by a Monarch. Season is almost over, 4 Chrysalis left here at home to be released this week! A Great Summer for Raising Monarch’s!

I worked with some Epoxy Resin to preserve some Memorable Items! The Tea Light Candle has dried Mini Roses I received in February. The coasters are for my cousins, their dad (my uncle Dave), passed away last year. He liked to do Rock Tumbling and gave me these several years ago, I decided to make coasters with them for his 3 kids/spouses. The last is a Dried Rose from my cousins funeral (he died on June 4th), age 62 from Brain Aneuryism. This is going to his wife. The rose dried so dark, I got a display light to put it on. It can be lit in different colors or just clear. Resin is a Great way to Preserve Memories!

Some Very Large Bevel Snowflakes, detailed and simple pumpkins. I have been working on these for several weeks, for an Order. The largest 2 Snowflakes are almost 17” across, medium is 15” and smaller is a little over 12”. The 2 largest detailed pumpkins are close to 10” and 8.5”. The smaller simple ones are 6”. Several clear types of textured glass is used in the pumpkins. The 2 largest Snowflakes have Antique German glass and the bevels. The 4 Snowflakes has reinforced wire soldered on the back to make them have strength because of how big they are! Bevels make rainbow prisms throughout your house whenever the Sun shines through them.

Birthday Cake for Our 10 year old grand-daughter. The Theme was Dogs, so I found a reasonable priced mold for the Fondant Dogs (Temu) and a mold from Michaels to make the paws. I took all the supplies and the frosted cake, Sadie did most all decorating. I had her mix the color for her dogs into the measured out fondant. Mold the dog, add eyes, collar and nose. Paint the tongue and pink blush on face, highlights yo the eyes. We did the 2 dog houses out of colored fondant, used texture mats. Sadie molded all the paws and put on the cake. She also molded the letters and numbers. Everything was edible. The cake was 8” in size, white cake and Buttercream frosting that was tinted light pink.

A birthday cake for my niece’s daughter. Troll Themed Cake was what Brynlee picked. It is an 8” Chocolate Cake with pink covered Buttercream Frosting. Blue colored ganache drip over top of cake. The Rainbow and Lollipops are Fondant and the Little Troll Figures added. All the colored Fondant was pushed through an Extruder Tool. With the Lollipops a White and a colored long rope of fondant was twisted than wrapped like a pinwheel, starting in center of a fondant circle. The ganache drip wasn’t as good looking as I would have liked it (but tasted great),it has to be the correct temperature and the cake needs refrigerated for 20 minutes. Even tho I had the temperature of ganache to 95 degrees and cake chilled, it ran a little too much! (Ganache should of been 85 to 90 degrees and Cake colder) It was a Cute Themed Cake!
