The Danville Science Center delights all ages with its hands-on exhibits, digital dome shows and special programs that make science fun for everyone. During butterfly season (April-October), don't miss the beauty of the Butterfly Station and Garden - one of only a few butterfly greenhouses in Virginia. We share Science Center information, science news and other content we think will educate, inspire and entertain our followers. We’ll do our best to respond to follower posts and messages, but you may also contact the Museum at [email protected] or (434) 791-5160. We encourage you to submit questions and comments. The Science Center reserves the right to delete submissions that contain vulgar language, personal attacks and offensive comments. We will also delete posts that:

2) Are clearly off topic.
3) Advocate illegal activity.
4) Promote particular services, products or political organizations.
5) Infringe on copyrights or trademarks.
6) Reveal private/personal information (medical, financial, etc.).
