Three Pines Studio is a working artist's studio and sales gallery in the arts and crafts tradition. Our modern facility features two 400 square foot working studios that provide artists of all ages the necessary equipment and materials to create in both the clay and fiber mediums. The Three Pines Gallery features the creative work of northern Michigan artists exclusively. Featuring paintings, fibe

The mountains, lakes and trails of Michigan and the West. Colors of black, brown, indigo, green and white and my grandmother’s quill box collection inspire pottery design and decoration.

This inspiring exhibition explores color, texture, and storytelling through fiber and clay, bringing together two unique artistic voices (Joann Condino and Lanie Parker) in a beautiful and thought-provoking show.

Indigo—the color, its mystery, its history, and its dye process—captivates me. My work in this exhibit explores the many possibilities of blue. It is about pattern and the manipulation of fiber as a way to tell a story. Through this work, I share the story of my own “mood indigo.”
