Love note 💕
when I designed these love notes years ago, I thought of them as discarded little joy filled letters. That you wrote in middle school, you crushes name over and over and over again then thrown away because you didn’t want anyone to see. The dream, the nerves, young love. As I make them now I think they’ve progressed. I see them more as a note to someone you’ve been with for years a daily reminder that I love you and choose to love you every day. I have these in both Spanish and English but I also make them custom in any language of your choosing.

Design formula! How to break out of a creative rut. Designs come to me in a lot of different ways, but I’ve been working on this butter dish for a while. When I’m in a creative hole and I’m just stumped on what to design, I like to either center myself in nature where I find a lot of references or go to the flea market. There’s so many amazing vintage references that you can find at the flea. Also contrary, to popular belief, you don’t just go and look at ceramics if you’re making ceramic. A lot of the times, I’m pulling clothing and looking at the patterns on clothing, and seeing how that can drive the inspiration for a new design. #howto #ceramic #design #rexdesign #ceramicart #butterdish #pottery
