🔥 Something special was forged today in the Blacksmith Shop!
While the hammer was ringing and the forge was glowing on this Friday, we were already looking ahead to the 55th Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival — October 16, 17 & 18 right here in Historic Roscoe Village.
All weekend long, the Blacksmith Shop will be alive with the clang of hot iron… and YOU can join in!
Make It • Take It
Forge your very own apple in the Blacksmith Shop and take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake from the festival.
Come smell the apple butter simmering, watch the sparks fly, and create something with your own hands.

Thank you to Central Ohio Technical College – Coshocton Campus for being a valued Community Partner of Historic Roscoe Village and the Roscoe Village Foundation.

COTC is more than a partner, it's a neighbor. Its Coshocton campus is in Montgomery Hall, right at the entrance of Historic Roscoe Village. All year, COTC's support helps fund our education programs for kids. Those programs bring canal-era history to life for young learners throughout Ohio.

It's the same hands-on spirit COTC brings to its students today, helping them "(re)define what's possible."

Thank you COTC for believing what is possible at Historic Roscoe Village and our Apple Butter Stirrin Festival!

Sawdust will be flying. David Dave Crego Carvings, the artist who turned a fallen tree into the pirate and treasure chest at Mount Vernon's Captain Hunter's Landing splash pad, will be carving live in Historic Roscoe Village.

Here's a look at his work. Come watch a log become a work of art in person, then enjoy live music, historic shops, a working blacksmith, and apple butter simmering in copper kettles. And so much more...
