This camp meets July 27 – 31, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Throughout the week, campers will build skills and confidence as they try new techniques, contribute to collaborative group art projects, and enjoy open-ended artistic play in the classroom using a range of craft supplies.

At The Iowa Children’s Museum, children learn by doing, including learning about the world around them. Through partnerships with community members and organizations, we co-create cultural experiences that invite families to connect through hands-on activities, music, storytelling, and celebration. 💜

From a Lunar New Year Celebration with the Midwest Chinese Academy to a Powwow Preview with The Native American Student Association at the University of Iowa, these collaborations help children experience culture with care, accuracy, and respect.
