👉 Designed for caregivers of all fitness levels and abilities, this energizing class gives grown-ups a chance to move and stretch while little ones join in on the fun. No special equipment or fitness experience is needed, and the class is safe for pregnancy.

After Dark: Night of the Living Toys is almost here. If you’ve been thinking about coming, now is the time to get your tickets! 🎃

On Friday, October 23, we’re turning The Iowa Children’s Museum into a grown-ups-only Halloween night filled with games, drinks, costumes, mysteries, and a LOT to explore.

Here’s what we have planned:

🔎 A museum-wide mystery: Follow newspaper clippings, old photographs, hidden messages, mysterious recordings, and other clues to uncover the story of Bellatrix, a doll who has suddenly gone missing.

🏆 Costume contest: We’ll crown our favorites at 8:30 p.m. with prizes and bragging rights on the line. (Not a costume person? No problem! You'll have a blast no matter what you wear)

🧠 Halloween trivia with Christopher's Bar Exam, including rounds on Halloween, horror movies & more.

🎤 Karaoke + dancing in the Black Lagoon Lounge.

🏺 Clay crafts: Try your hand at making a spooky trinket you can take home!

🔮 Choose-your-own tarot: Pick your deck, pick your fate (and maybe get a drink rec while you're at it). Choose from Pokémon, Lord of the Rings & more.

🍺 Drinks from Millstream Brewing Co., plus w**e, seltzers and plenty of NA options

🌮 Quesadillas, taquitos, chips & salsa, and more from Ándale Andale, plus plenty of Halloween candy for your inner trick-or-treater.
