We welcome you to experience the history, beauty, and adventure of this impressive collection. Founded in 2006, the Antique Car Museum
of Iowa prides itself in educating visitors on the history of transportation. Our 28,000 square foot showroom features 80+ cars ranging from year 1899 to the mid 1960s, along with an early 20th century Skelly gas station, and an exhibit featuring the Abernathy Boy

s and their automobile. Many of our antique cars are in their original condition and are untouched by modern day techniques—it’s a rare pleasure to view these historic cars in their genuine state! Browse our gift shop featuring car-related memorabilia, t-shirts, hats, books, and other gift items. Spend the day with us and enjoy the area: located conveniently off I-80 at the 242 exit by the new University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics location, Iowa River Landing. boasts fantastic restaurants and shops for an extended stay in the Iowa City/Coralville area. The claim the Mason Automobile Company of Des Moines, Iowa made was that trading the touring car body for the truck body was a simple, at home procedure. Well, I don't think we'll ever do THAT again. Not so simple.

The Iowa Derecho storm of 2020 did much damage here in Coralville. The next city to the north was hit even harder and Cedar Rapids lost 65% of its trees. There were a few auto casualties as well.
