Copperas Cove Historical Society The Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation, education, and celebration of Copperas Cove.

The Copperas Cove Historical Society's mission is to celebrate and preserve the history of Copperas Cove, Texas. Our vision is to be a community that knows and honors its past through education, celebration, and preservation. Our current leadership team is:

President - John Gallen
VP – Ray Payne
Secretary – Dee Todd
Treasurer – Kelly Rios
Parliamentarian – Sandor Vegh
Historians – James Powell and Danny Corbett
Public Relations – David Hardin


Our goal is to collect personal stories, and create a physical history center at the Allin House on Main Street where we will be able to display and preserve artifacts, photos and educational material.

Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful stopped by today to cheer us on as we make some repairs to the Stagecoach Stop at Ogletree Gap. Come see how we're using your donations at the Heritage Festival October 10th and enjoy some BBQ and Bluegrass at our fundraising dinner the night before on October 9th.
