Constable Hall The historic Constable family home that inspired the beloved poem
"Twas The Night Before Christmas".

Construction was completed in 1819 by William Constable Jr.The Hall remained in the family until it was sold with the express purpose that it be turned into a historic house museum. Tours are available during the season, late May through October. In addition to tours we have different programs and events for people of all ages, check our website for more information.

On August 29 at 10:00 the Lyons Falls History Association will be unveiling an Historic Sign at the ceremony of the 200th Anniversary of Forest Church. Join us as Reverend Naomi Kelly will give a Blessing of the Original Forest Church site. The celebration will continue at Forest Church on Center Street.

Fall will bring a special opportunity to explore the beauty of Constable Hall’s historic gardens with the return of Heidi Van Zandt for a hands-on Fall Flower Arrangement Workshop on Tuesday, September 15, at 5:30 p.m.
Participants are asked to bring their own pruners and a container for their arrangement. The group will walk through the gardens and grounds together, gathering seasonal flowers, foliage and other natural materials. Heidi will share tips, ideas and creative suggestions for turning these materials into beautiful fall arrangements.
The workshop is free, although donations to the Historic Garden Fund are greatly appreciated. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the gardens, learn something new and take home a beautiful reminder of the season.
