Step Back in Time This July 5th at Constable Hall
As part of our celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, Constable Hall invites you to a special historical presentation by curator Peter Hayes.

This engaging program will explore the Revolutionary era through the difficult choices people faced:
Should they remain loyal to the King or join the rebels?
After independence, what kind of nation should they build?
Using the life of William Constable as a guide, Peter Hayes will introduce the remarkable figures in Constable's circle, including Alexander Hamilton, Benedict Arnold, Aaron Burr, the Marquis de Lafayette, and others.
This is not a dry history lecture—it is a personal journey through one of the most pivotal moments in American history. The presentation will also feature two treasured historical artifacts, and audience discussion will be encouraged following the talk.
Would you have joined the rebels and risked life and limb? Come and discover the choices that shaped a nation.

And That's a Wrap!
The 2026 Father's Day Arts & Craft Fair and Cruise In is officially in the books, and what a wonderful day it was! As we look back on this memorable event, we wanted to share a few final photos and extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make the day such a success.
Thank you to our talented vendors who filled the grounds with beautiful handcrafted items and unique treasures. Thank you to the Cruise In participants who brought their stunning vehicles for all to admire. We are grateful to the Lowville Village Band for providing the perfect soundtrack to a beautiful summer afternoon.
A special thank you goes out to the many bakers who donated the wonderful assortment of sweets enjoyed throughout the day, and to the Triangle Tillers who helped tend the gardens and assist with the plant sale. We also appreciate Big D's Tug Hill BBQ for serving up a delicious meal that has become a favorite tradition of the fair.
Most importantly, we want to recognize the many volunteers who worked behind the scenes and throughout the day—parking cars, staffing stations, assisting visitors, and helping wherever needed. Events like this simply would not be possible without your dedication and hard work.
And finally, thank you to everyone who came out to spend part of your Father's Day with us. We are continually inspired and encouraged when our efforts to preserve, share, and celebrate Constable Hall are embraced by our community. Seeing families, friends, and visitors enjoying the grounds and making memories together reminds us why we do what we do.
While this year's Arts & Craft Fair and Cruise In may be over, the season is just getting started! We invite everyone to visit our website at constablehall.org to learn about the many exciting programs, workshops, concerts, tours, and special events planned throughout the summer.

🍷🎶 Looking for the perfect Sunday afternoon outing? Join us June 28 at 1:00pm for Music and Wine in the Garden at Constable Hall. Enjoy the sounds of the Rebecca Miner Trio while relaxing in the Hall’s beautiful historic garden. Admission is free, with wine and snacks available by donation. A lovely way to celebrate summer in the North Country!
