MIXED LEVEL HAND-BUILDING CLASS
ClearWater Ceramics Center
Whether beginner or advanced, Mixed-Level Hand-building is designed for students of all experience levels.
In this class, students will learn a variety of clay construction techniques and explore methods such as ✋ pinching, 🌀 coiling, 🧱 slab building, and using simple molds.
Students will also investigate surface decoration techniques, gaining experience with 🎨 slip trailing, ✏️ incising, 🔳 stamped impressions, and wax resist to expand their creative toolbox.
Each week, students will be encouraged to grow and evolve creatively through guided instruction, along with self-directed practice during scheduled Open Studio times.

INTERMEDIATE WHEEL THROWING:
Thursdays, May 7 - June 25
6pm-8:30pm
$200 for City of Concord Residents
$256 for Non-Residents
Designed for students who have completed at least one beginner wheel class and are comfortable centering clay, pulling walls, and creating basic forms on the wheel. This course helps students take the next step in their pottery journey by refining technique, building consistency, and exploring more complex forms and concepts.
Throughout the 8-week session, students will have the option to explore a variety of guided project prompts. You’re welcome to focus on one area in depth or explore multiple prompts based on your interests and personal goals.
