Our hearts are with the members of Cleveland County EMS as they mourn the loss of one of their own. We extend our deepest condolences to their family, friends, and coworkers during this incredibly difficult time.

Yesterday also served as a sobering reminder of the risks first responders face every day, as ambulance crashes involving Cleveland County EMS and Davidson County EMS occurred while crews were serving their communities.

When you see emergency vehicles responding, please slow down, stay alert, and give them the space they need to do their jobs safely. As temperatures rise, remember that impatience and distracted driving can have lasting consequences. A few extra seconds of caution can save lives—including those who have dedicated theirs to protecting yours.

Please keep all of our first responders in your thoughts, and help us make this a safe summer for everyone.

No fallen hero should spend Memorial Day alone. 🇺🇸

Join TMF volunteers across the country for The Honor Project, where veterans, families of the fallen, and inspired civilians will be placing commemorative tokens at the resting places of over 10,000 fallen heroes nationwide. These family-friendly events are a powerful way to educate the next generation about the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Taking place at over 70 cemeteries nationwide, efforts like this remain possible because of partners like Veterans United Foundation

If your fallen hero rests at a participating cemetery, share their info by May 20 so we can honor them too. >> https://bit.ly/4r06X3P
