Join us for a Play Session Mon–Fri: 10:00am–12:30pm, 12:30–3:00pm, or 3:00–5:00pm or Sat: 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm! The museum is Columbia's indoor place for fun! Visit one of our play sessions, host a private birthday party or join us for events throughout the year. There is something for different ages and interests! Did we mention we have a Toy Shop? Here you will find quality and educational toys at reasonable prices to take the fun home!

🌟 **Please join us in welcoming our new Executive Director, Monica Armstrong!** 🌟

We are thrilled to welcome Monica to the aMuse’um team! A lifelong Columbia resident, Monica brings a deep connection to our community and a passion for serving local families.

Monica joins us from the Boys & Girls Club, where she served as an Area Program Coordinator. She also brings extensive experience in early childhood education from the Academy of Heritage Commons, where she worked as a teacher before serving as the Program Coordinator and Assistant Director. Her strong background in team management, programming, and donor relations will be a wonderful asset to aMuse’um.

Outside of work, Monica is a proud mom to her 10-year-old daughter, Makenna, and 16-year-old son, Camden. 💙 As someone who has grown up in and raised her family in Columbia, we’re especially excited to have her leading aMuse’um and helping us continue to make a positive impact in our community.

We’re so excited for the vision, energy, and experience Monica brings to aMuse’um!

We are so grateful to First Farmers for their continued support of aMuse’um and for helping make hands-on learning possible for children in our community!

Our Bank Exhibit, proudly sponsored by First Farmers, gives children the opportunity to step into the world of banking through imaginative play. From pretending to be a banker or customer to exploring how money is saved, spent, and exchanged, children can experience real-world concepts in a fun and engaging way.

Through play in this space, children can build important skills like communication, problem-solving, and decision-making, all while letting their imaginations take the lead!
