Heights Arts Heights Arts is a nonprofit community arts organization in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Since the year 2000 Heights Arts has tapped into the creativity of Cleveland Heights to infuse our community's daily life with the arts. Along with multi-media art exhibitions throughout the year featuring regional and nationally known local artists at our Lee Road gallery and Store, we also engage the community through public art projects in the greater Cleveland area, chamber music concerts, our featured Cleveland Heights Poet Laureate and artist talk and poetry series Ekphrastacy, and a popular email newsletter with the latest happenings at Heights Arts and in town. 🍂We are temporarily closed to install our 25th Annual Holiday Store!🍁

Stay tuned for updates, and join us November 6 at 5:00pm for the opening reception to shop art, craft, and unique holiday gifts from over 120 local artists.

The shop will be open 7 days a week between November 6 and December 31 to ensure you can get all of your holiday shopping in. See you soon! 🎨

We’re closing for the next two weeks while we transform the gallery for the holiday season...so this weekend is your last chance to drop in!

We’ll be open this Friday through Sunday, stocked with the locally handcrafted items you love like ceramic stash jars, playful pot holders, colorful prints, and a variety of greeting cards.

The changing leaves aren't the only new bursts of color in the beautiful Cedar Lee Arts District 🍂🍁🎨 By now, we hope you've gotten the chance to take in the 6 new beautiful murals decorating Lee Road. This summer's public art project was a huge success, and we couldn't have done it without you.

🚴Join Heights Arts and Heights Bicycle Coalition TONIGHT (10/13) to celebrate these vibrant new additions! At 6:00pm, meet Heights Bicycle Coalition in the pocket park beside Heights Arts to join a leisurely group bike ride that will visit some of the new mural sites and explore the beautiful autumn streets of Cleveland Heights.

🎨After the ride, meet back at Heights Arts for a mixer--enjoy refreshments, a cash bar, mingling with the artists who brought the project to life, and hear remarks from Mayor Jim Petras.

🌟We're introducing Jazzee Rozier, one of the artists featured in Emergent, an exhibition celebrating the next generation of Northeast Ohio artists.

Rozier's interdisciplinary practice spans printmaking, drawing, sewing, poetry, and photography. An active member of the local arts community, they have exhibited throughout Northeast Ohio and have received recognition including the Zygote PROOF Fellowship and the Helen Greene Perry Travel Scholarship.

Their work explores emotions, relationships, survival, and identity through a deeply personal lens. Drawing inspiration from everyday experiences, music, and the people around them, Rozier creates layered works that examine both individual and shared experiences while fostering connection through community.

This week, we're introducing Gabs Rataiczak (), one of the artists featured in Emergent, an exhibition celebrating the next generation of Northeast Ohio artists.

Rataiczak is a self-taught artist whose lifelong passions for painting and skateboarding often intersect in her work. Encouraged by her father's creativity from an early age, she primarily works in acrylic, creating paintings inspired by family, skate culture, and everyday life.

Whether painting on canvas or skateboards, Rataiczak is drawn to the stories her subjects can tell. Her work celebrates individuality, finding beauty in distinctive features and embracing each new subject as an opportunity to grow and challenge her artistic practice.

"Faces are something that I admire. The way no one looks exactly alike... Faces can tell a story, and it's been a fun project to keep evolving and see where else it may take me."
