This workshop being held to create space for community while exploring the meditative process of bead work. S-x workers are often blamed for their victimization, more-so than the general population. They are seen as less credible and viewed as deserving of violence. Because of this, despite the increased risk of sexual violence among the s-x work community, traumatic experiences are frequently overlooked due to stigma and discrimination.

Happy August! Join us for 2 workshops this month!!

Beading Boundaries, our beading and garment adorning workshop for s-x workers, will be taking place next week on August 11th from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Our second workshop of the month, Layers Contained, will be held at the studio on August 18th from 6 PM to 9 PM. Layers contained as a DIY paper making and collage workshop.

Join us for Layers Contained, our paper-making and collage workshop!

Our Layers Contained workshop combines DIY paper making and collage to explore healing through a creative and tactile experience. This workshop allows participants to layer image and text in the paper pulp that they have created to explore themes and revealing and concealing related to survivorship.📜
