Fall Leaf Platter Workshop:
Celebrate the colors and textures of autumn in this two-day fused-glass class! You’ll create a one-of-a-kind, 8” fall leaf platter using handmade powder-wafer leaves and a custom-designed glass base.
On Day One, you’ll learn how to create delicate powder-wafer leaves using glass powders, exploring fall color combinations, leaf shapes, and subtle texture. You’ll also design your base glass, choosing colors and elements that will complement your finished leaf composition. The leaves and base designs will be fired separately between class sessions.
On Day Two, you’ll return to arrange your fired leaves onto the completed base, refining the balance, movement, and layering of your final design. Your platter will then be fired and slumped into its finished shape.
No prior glass experience is needed—just come ready to play with color, create something seasonal, and make a beautiful piece you’ll enjoy displaying or serving from all season long.
