OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS | APRICITY
The warmth of sun in winter.

Gallery Fifty One invites artists to interpret apricity literally or metaphorically. Warmth and sunlight may be expressed through human connection, memory, intimacy, hope, renewal, or the emotional qualities of color, texture, and form.

The sun need not appear in the work. We seek a range of distinctive interpretations of what it means to find warmth and light during the darkest days and longest nights.

✦ No size restrictions. All mediums considered.
✦ Submit up to three works.
✦ Abstract, conceptual, and representational work welcome.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
October 20, 2026. Priority offered to early applicants. Selection is rolling and may close early once the exhibition reaches capacity.

One week of live music in Charlotte. 🎶

Six stages. Six completely different experiences. One creative city with an extraordinary creative pulse.

At Gallery Fifty One, we believe art is bigger than what hangs on the walls. It’s music, movement, performance, culture, connection, and the people creating all of it. We are thrilled to support you.

Charlotte, keep showing off. We’re here for it.
