Interested in a free art class per session? 👀

Valley Art Center is looking for front desk volunteers on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4-7pm, with availability as early as next week.

Three evening shifts per 6-week session: 50% off one class per session.
Five evening shifts per session: one FREE class per session!

The role is being a friendly face at the front desk, directing people to their classrooms, and locking the front door. Our volunteers have been known to bring in a book to keep them company, as they don’t have to worry about phones or sales.

Thank you to everyone who made Art by the Falls 2026 such a tremendous success! To the thousands of visitors who spent the weekend discovering new artists, finding that perfect piece, and supporting the arts, thank you.

To our talented artists, thank you for sharing your creativity, passion, and hard work with our community. Your booths transformed the Polo Field into an inspiring outdoor gallery unlike any other.

To our volunteers, sponsors, food vendors, musicians, community partners, and the countless people working behind the scenes, thank you for helping create a welcoming, vibrant, and memorable experience for all.

From all of us at Valley Art Center: thank you for spending your weekend with us. We are grateful for your support and already looking forward to seeing you next year!

Flower Pressing
Saturday, 7/11 | 11:00am-1:00pm | $95 | Danielle DeBoe Harper
The workshop will walk you through pressing fresh flowers! Attendees will leave with a pressed flower artwork along with the tools to continue pressing flowers at home.

Flower Favorites in Watercolor
Saturday, 7/18 | 10:00am-4:00pm | $90 | Jeanette Bill-Cole
Learn about ways to capture your favorite summer flowers in watercolor! You will receive tips on both sketching and how to paint in layers to achieve richer color.

Abstract Florals in Mixed Media
Saturday, 8/8 | 9:00am-4:00pm | $130 | Ken Marunowski
In this workshop, students will use the flower as a principal subject and explore ways to abstract it through a mixed-media approach, capitalizing on variations in form, color and line.
