Cary Gallery of Artists We are an Art Gallery co-op of over 20 artists showcasing original work in a variety of media includ Our gallery offers high quality art in a variety of styles.

Since its founding in 2005 by a group of local artists with a dream, Cary Gallery of Artists has offered high quality, affordable, original artwork for you to enjoy and own. A great time to visit us is during Cary's Final Friday Art Loop. We have participated in Art Loop since its beginning in 2005. On the last Friday of each month we are open late, from 6 – 9 p.m., featuring special showings by m

ember artists, and we hold a juried show, Small Treasures, each spring. Cary provides free bus service between the art venues including ours in Ashworth Village, Town Hall campus, and Crossroads Shopping Center. A wide variety of painting styles range from traditional still lifes and landscapes to abstracts. Portraits of people or animals are available. The pottery and clay art include edgy handbuilt pieces and decorative and functional pottery that captures images of nature. Our jewelry artists create necklaces, earrings, bracelets and other ornaments from metals, stones, beads and fused glass. Our artists also create contemporary glass art, hand-painted porcelain, felted wearables and art, and intricate fabric pieces.

Happy New Year!
It’s a new year and we have a new show up at the gallery. Please come by between now and January 25th to enjoy our high school student show.
Works from Green Hope and Green Level High Schools are displayed this year.
Please stop by to vote for the student art!! You can vote for your favorite 2D and 3D piece.

The closing reception is January 25, 2-3;30pm. Awards presented at 3pm, teachers and students will be present.

Congratulations to Angela, one of our amazing painters, on the release of her debut children’s book!

”All Kinds of Flower Rhymes” is a read-aloud picture book for ages 0 - 6. It combines simple illustrations and some fun facts to introduce the names of different flowers and promotes a love for nature.

Congratulations to gallery member Diana Hrabosky, on winning first place in the drawing category at the state level for the 2024 NC Senior Games which was held at Cary Arts Center. The Silver Arts program is a part of the Senior Games featuring sports and various art competitions for NC residents aged 50 and older. Diana’s colored pencil piece is called Woodland Magic One. It’s 22x17” and took 128 hours to do....multiple layers of color, six to eight in most places.

A wonderful celebration last Friday during our Final Friday reception for our beloved Ann Howe, plus the gallery’s 19th Birthday. Wishing Ann was here to celebrate her 100th birthday this month. She will be missed but we continue to enjoy her wonderful art!
Come by the gallery through October 22nd to enjoy Ann’s work.
