Cary Gallery of Artists We are an Art Gallery co-op of over 20 artists showcasing original work in a variety of media. A great time to visit us is during Cary's Final Friday Art Loop.

Since its founding in 2005 by a group of local artists with a dream, Cary Gallery of Artists has offered high quality, affordable, original artwork for you to enjoy and own. We have participated in Art Loop since its beginning in 2005. On the last Friday of each month we are open late, from 6 – 9 p.m., featuring special showings by member artists, and we hold a juried show, Small Treasures, each spring. Cary provides free bus service between the art venues including ours in Ashworth Village, Town Hall campus, and Crossroads Shopping Center. Our gallery offers high quality art in a variety of styles. A wide variety of painting styles range from traditional still lifes and landscapes to abstracts. Portraits of people or animals are available. The pottery and clay art include edgy handbuilt pieces and decorative and functional pottery that captures images of nature. Our jewelry artists create necklaces, earrings, bracelets and other ornaments from metals, stones, beads and fused glass. Our artists also create contemporary glass art, hand-painted porcelain, felted wearables and art, and intricate fabric pieces.

Cathy Mazanec, CGA member artist, is pleased to announce that her painting, Celestial Tapestry, was juried into the 2026 Watercolor Society of North Carolina’s (WSNC) Annual Juried Exhibition. Cathy’s painting is among 70 pieces that were chosen from nearly 300 entries. The WSNC Juried Exhibition is installed at the Hummin’ Bird Hall at Griffith Fine Arts Museum on the campus of Red Oak Brewery in Whitsett, NC. https://redoakbrewery.com/hummin-bird-hall-gallery

This exhibition will be open until November 16th, 2026, so take a short drive to Whitsett, buy a b**r or glass of w**e and peruse the beautiful watercolor paintings by some of the best watercolorists in the state. Most works are for sale.

Meet member artist Rebekah Gunn of Circle City Studio!

Rebekah creates handturned wooden vessels and sculptural forms, working primarily with sustainably sourced domestic hardwoods. Her work celebrates the natural beauty and character of wood, balancing graceful forms with the unique grain and features of each piece.

Her journey into woodturning began in her father's woodworking shop, and today she continues that creative legacy through her own artistic practice.
