A few pieces and moments that caught our eye at last year’s Art & Jazz Festival.

One of my favorite things about being around so much art is seeing how differently artists look at the world. You can walk past ten booths and find ten completely different ways of seeing color, a place, or a familiar moment. And somewhere in there, you find a piece that feels like you.

That’s the kind of experience we love creating at Menagerie, and why it means so much to help bring artists out into the community through Georgia Art Events and the Art & Jazz Festival.

Sometimes I have favorites.

And this duo right here…this is one of my favorite new views in the gallery. ❤️

But, I have plenty more. How can I not?

The wonderful thing about art is that it is often form AND function.

Don't get me wrong...I love art that simply lives to be observed. A painting's purpose is to accentuate a room, tell a story, command a glance, balance decor, or strike up a conversation. But we don't often "use" them.

But some art is for more. There is something about turning art into everyday objects that helps make everyday feel like art. And we have so much of that at Menagerie on Main.

Collecting art isn't just for walls. It's for curating a very special life.

I took this photo because, honestly, there’s something about seeing your name on a sticker that makes it feel...well...official.

But I also just really love this logo. Every letter is a different, which feels right for Menagerie, a place full of different artists, styles, and ideas, all belonging together.

And I love imagining these stickers out in the world: on a water bottle, a laptop, a sketchbook. Little pieces of Menagerie making their way around the community.

If you have one, where did you stick it? I want to know!

If you don't, come get one!

New artist Cameron II Handcrafted Jewelry joined Menagerie on Main, and we are thrilled!

Handmade, high quality, and simply beautiful designs.

I got to talk more with Cameron and learn about her beginnings as a teen artist and her life as a successful business owner.

Getting to know my artists is always incredibly inspiring. ❤️

Welcome, Cameron!

I may be biased, but this is a great looking entrance 😉You should check it out!
