Ohhhh!!! This is fun. There’s not enough space or time to remark on how great the Boulder Dam Credit Union is. They’ve supported Boulder City residents and businesses since the beginning. We wouldn’t be here without their support.

The 90th Anniversary of the Boulder Inaugural Electric Parade in downtown LA is October 9, 2026. The parade celebrated the night the lights turned on for the first time using power from the Hoover Dam! Come hear about the parade from first hand letters between the parade organizers and the titans of industry back then including Hollywood royalty and presidents of Westinghouse, GE, and many others in this short 30 minute preview of the newest exhibit to open at the museum! The talk is scheduled to begin at 1pm on Wednesday, October 7 at Lakeview Terrace and is free to the public!

The private car "Ellsmere" will be open for tours Saturday, September 19 between 10:00am and 1:00pm as we celebrate the grand opening of our visitor center addition!

We visited the brand new State Railroad Museum. Fun fact….Boulder City never was a railroad town. We never had a depot until the Boulder Dam project in 1931. The only reason we had rails was to deliver supplies to the dam. Most of those rails were removed after its completion and now the area serves as fun hiking trails!
