June 14 th. we honor FLAG DAY today. On this day in 1777 the Continental Congress decided on the design of America Flag. The American Flag was sewn by Betsy Ross. According to Besty Ross family: George Washington, Robert Morris, and George Ross visited her in 1776 asked Betsy to make the First American Flag. 13 stars and 13 stripes were the design chosen. This would represent the original 13 Colonies. President Woodrow Wilson signed the Proclamation establishing June 14th of each year as Flag day. The Flag is more than just a cloth and colors. It is a symbol of Freedom, Bravery, and unity. America the Land of the Free & Home of the Brave. Let us all honor our America 🇺🇸 Flag today.
