We’ve been working hard to stock the shop for the upcoming gift season! We have holiday-themed puzzles, books, and matches while we have also expanded our stationery selection. If you’ve been looking for leather bound journal holders (with notebook refills 😉), stamp sets, bookends, then you must stop by the museum shop after you’ve finished viewing our exhibits!

Our next event in our Art of Goodbye exhibit is coming this Thursday! You don’t hear the Ash Devine play and sing these haunting tunes very often throughout the year - plus, you never know what tales of spirits the audience will spin.

Incidentally, this is also another good pairing evening with The Lyric. Eat dinner, come to our place for spooky ballads, and you will be primed for the viewing of the smart, experimental horror film The Blair Witch project at 10:00 at the theater. Ash Devine The Lyric Theatre

How many of you have come out to see the Art of Goodbye??? Make sure to stop by and check out our Artifact of the Week, a Casket and Sunnyside periodical from October 1921 on loan from the McCoy Funeral Home.

The exhibition includes tons of funerary material culture and details funerary traditions from the colonial era to now. It is a must-see, and community fan favorite, so make sure to stop by before the show ends on Friday, November 13! 😉
