National Air Defense Radar Museum

National Air Defense Radar Museum The National Air Defense Museum is built on the grounds of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, the former 664th AC&W/Radar Sqdn. in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

The museum will be housed in the former AN/FPS-26 tower, which is long-term leased from the OHPCC. The Air Force Radar Museum has but a single project - the establishment of the National Air Defense Radar Museum at the former 664th Radar Squadron at Bellefontaine, Ohio. The NADRM will be housed in the former AN/FPS-26 tower on the grounds of the Ohio High-Point Career Center. We currently have a l

ease for this tower for the next 25 years, and are in the process of budgeting our initial construction which will include, but not be limited to, running sewer, water & adequate power to the tower, sealing and insulating the lower floor(s) of the tower, installing walls, flooring and an entrance foyer. We will be proceeding on a floor-by-floor plan as funding permits. Your membership dues and/or donations are critical to our success.

TAPS.......

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our former 664th AC&W Airman....

Tech Sergeant Bob Hart passed away this past Wednesday...
On behalf of the 664th Committee and ALL of those of the 664th we extend our deepest condolences and sympathy!πŸ™πŸ»

Bob was a great supporter as was his family of the 664th and all of our past reunions!

It was my honor and pleasure to have been involved with his Vietnam Veterans Recognition program last year!πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

This afternoon I had the pleasure to meet Angie and Ben Jones. They rode over from Indian Lake while visiting from the Cincinnati area.
They were impressed with our museum and they are both loyal legion members.
Ben gave me a heads up about a former Nike Missile site down around his area that could possibly be opening up for visitors soon. Thanks Ben for the heads up!
Great to have meet them both!

Good evening to the 664th, our NADRM group and ALL of our branch service veterans!

Today I was honored to be involved with our American Legion Post 173 as their Master of Ceremonies for this year's Memorial Day ceremony.
It was a great ceremony and our speaker Art Ruash was outstanding!
A big shout out to ALL the veterans that participated in laying of the wreaths and the Color Guard!
Afterwards a great picnic was held at the Legion shelter house!!!
