Remember when dinner came with exactly TWO options? 😂

You either ate what was on the table… or suddenly discovered you weren’t that hungry after all.

There was no separate meal, no custom order, and definitely no asking, “What else do we have?” Mom’s kitchen wasn’t a restaurant, and apparently the complaint department closed before we were born. 😅

Funny thing is, most of us survived—and somehow learned to appreciate whatever was put in front of us.

Who else grew up eating at the famous “Take It or Leave It Café”? 😂

Can I be honest for a second? The older I get, the less interested I am in finding perfect people.

I've learned that everyone is carrying something you can't see. We've all said the wrong thing, made bad decisions, or wished we could rewind certain moments. If every mistake became a permanent label, none of us would stand a chance.

That doesn't mean accepting hurtful behavior or ignoring healthy boundaries. It just means remembering that kindness and understanding can go a long way. Sometimes the grace we give someone else is the same grace we'll need one day ourselves.

Life feels a whole lot lighter when we spend less time keeping score and more time choosing compassion. In the end, none of us are perfect... we're just doing the best we can with what we've learned.
