Kit Casati is in studio tomorrow, Saturday, October 10, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
He is our master jeweler. Rare stones. Fine art jewelry. Fun, brilliant, and the person you want across the table if you have ever loved black, ember, and a little edge.
In this video, I am wearing Inner Vision earrings and an Inner Vision bracelet by Kit Casati. He says the piece is inspired by transformation, purification, and dynamic change. Custom-cut geometric garnets and black spinel, set in sterling silver. Red-orange like an ember. Black like smoke. Etching that pulls the color forward. Gorgeous in any light. The video can do the rest.
Same palette you grew up in. Just elevated. Wearable art, not a phase.
Come meet him. Learn something. Leave with something spectacular.

Please forgive my clumsy video & social media skills, because this art deserves your full attention!

We have 3 new-to-us, but amazingly-beautiful vintage bronzes by Lincoln Fox on our showroom floor starting today. We are helping to re-home these pieces from a collection that was acquired by a wonderful couple from El Paso, Texas. They had amazing taste in art, so we are thrilled to get to share some of their treasures with you.

If you love American History, Native AMerican art & culture, or just masterful figurative sculpture, YOU MUST SEE THESE PIECES!

Stop by today or check them out online at FoundFA.com.

Happy Friday!

Tomorrow you can sit down with the maker.

Master jewelry designer, metalsmith, and sculptor Kit Casati will be at Found Fine Art on Saturday, October 10, from 11am to 5pm.

He is not working the bench that day. He is here to meet you, walk through new work, and talk through the piece you have been carrying around in your head.

A stone you have saved. A redesign of something inherited. A commission that needs a hand that understands both jewelry and sculpture. Bring the idea. Kit will tell you what is possible, how metal and stone behave, and how a special project actually comes to life.

New work will be on view. Questions are welcome. If you have been waiting for the right person to ask, this is the afternoon.

Welcome to Part 16 of our series, Look What We Found.
Today we’re at the Bastrop County Museum and Visitor Center on Main Street in historic downtown Bastrop. The Bastrop County Historical Society runs this fun and interactive museum. It is the place you go when you want the story of this town, not just a postcard of it.
Early days. The Karankawa, and the Indigenous people who were here first. Our own Alex happens to have Karankawa roots. She was doing an interview for this series and found that history in the research. A new discovery. It hit hard, in a good way. Baron de Bastrop. The Texas Revolution. Coal. A World War II training base. The Lost Pines, too, and a nod to the fire. What Bastrop lost is not forgotten history.
Eight dollars gets you the permanent exhibits and whatever special show is up. Kids 12 and under are free. So are active military, veterans, and members. Plan about an hour. Last entry is 4:30.
Come learn. You might find your own Texas roots in these rooms, or something you never knew about this wonderful town. Then come see us at Found Fine Art, before or after. Tell them their friends at Found Fine Art sent you.
