Behind the Scenes with Andrea B. Stone:

While most of my shoots naturally occur outside, I have occasionally had to shoot through a window to get my perfect shot. This can be challenging, as was the case in a second-floor ballroom in the Amtrak station in downtown Dallas, where the glass was very old and distorted. Luckily, I was able to bring my vision to life with these three photographs from that shoot; “In the Land of Dali”, “Storm” and “Blue Tree”.

For the past five years, Andrea has been represented by the fine art photography gallery, Lumas. Headquartered in Berlin, they have 29 locations around the world. This year, Andrea was included in their stunning photo book, Collecting Fine Art: The Lumas Portfolio - Volume IV. The book features Andrea’s 2011 photograph, City Landscape, taken in Chicago, Illinois.
