“Silent Melodies”, is currently on view through June 6th.
Mixed media creates a living symphony in this exhibition, which marks Eric Mack’s () first solo presentation since 2021. The artist creates layered compositions drawing from organic processes and material experimentation. The works are built on handmade substrates composed of natural materials gathered from his garden, and beyond. The materials embed time, memory, and transformation directly onto the surface.
Through these tactile assemblages, Mack invites the viewer to tune into the orchestral rhythm of the seasons, while exploring silence as a teacher and generative force. His compositions demonstrate growth, decay, and renewal. Blooms, stems, seeds, and branches become visual notes within a broader composition, producing what Mack describes as the garden’s annual symphony.
In Silent Melodies, Mack invites viewers into a space of observation and stillness, where the subtle choreography of nature becomes both subject and structure.
