We would like to congratulate our Outside Sales Manager Ben Rosebrock (pictured below back row, third from the left) on his graduation from the Ohio Travel Association Leadership Academy at their annual conference last week.
The Ohio Tourism Leadership Academy is a six month, in person program designed to equip travel professionals with education, resources, and networks to lead in Ohio’s $47 billion travel industry
OTLA’s mission is to provide education, resources, and professional networks to develop travel professionals for Ohio. It is tailored for both newcomers to the industry and experienced professionals seeking deeper knowledge Participants explore the challenges and opportunities in tourism, leadership roles, advocacy, media, and the economic, cultural, and conservation impacts of travel.
Ben and others in his cohort completed six in person sessions starting in January of this year.
He joined others from attractions, museums, theme parks, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), local/state/federal agencies, community development offices, hotels, restaurants, and more
Sessions featured guest speakers, peer networking, mentoring, and hands on projects designed to enhance leadership skills, industry insight, and a professional network of peers and decision makers.
