Where words from long ago are held within a seeking hand

The past is only silent to a heart that will not hear—

The valley holds its memories in grass and faded stone

No story is forgotten if its legacy is known

While Katie reads the ink-stained lines of lives that came before

Jillian stands in quiet grace upon the valley floor.
