Two of our members, Woody and Ryan took our 1986 International Rescue truck to participate in the Hoboken, NJ Memorial Day and Semiquincentennial Parade today. It was a beautiful day and we were so proud to be asked to be part of this day. More progress being made in our new kids room, I think the kids will love seeing the front of a fire truck when they walk in!! We have coloring pages, toy trucks, puzzles and books to keep the kids busy! The room will be open soon but we will be adding more fun activities for our little firefighters!! Come visit us on Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm we hope to see you soon!

Our dedicated volunteers don’t only work on Saturdays. Dave and Ryan were here Thursday cutting trees, grass and leveling the ground. Thank you guys, it’s looking great!!!

We recently took delivery of 2 Industrial Fire carts. These battery operated, 3 wheelers were designed to run the hallways and aisles inside the buildings. (1) is a foam unit and (1) has a Kidde ABC dry powder unit, both units carry hose, nozzles, fittings and firefighting equipment including SCBA and PPE. These were used by the “In house fire brigade” which protected Bell Telephone Laboratories, owned by MaBell (AT&T)now known as Nokia/Bell in Murray Hill, NJ.
