iea Director Myles Calvert has joined the Advisory Board for the Tamarind Institute (), University of New Mexico!
The Board kicked off a packed 3-day annual retreat in Portland, OR, building major printmaking connections. Highlights included:

✨ Visiting to see Mark R. Smith’s work (plus spotting prints by Kiki Smith and Ann Hamilton!).
✨ A guided tour of the Hockney exhibition at with Senior Curator Mary Weaver Chapin, plus a look at historic Tamarind-printed works by Paul Harris and a selection of prints from local Inkling Studio (1981-2009)
✨ An exclusive look at the collection—touring 20,000+ contemporary artworks with Jordan Schnitzer himself!
✨ Wrapping up at the studio of the incredible for a discussion on future projects and print magic.
