Here is a new painting fresh off of the easel. Cathy says it’s her favorite painting that I’ve ever done. It’s certainly one of mine, as well, if not my overall favorite. I feel like this one captures where I live as well as anything else that I’ve painted before. Late afternoon is my favorite time of day and this warm orange sunlight illuminating the trees and streaking across the road just makes this scene pleasantly exhilarating and dreamlike. It’s titled “Glory Road” because this is how I picture heaven on earth. A good eye will spot the two Bobwhite quail in the scene. This will be available both as canvas giclees and limited edition prints.
