We got some new work in by glassblower Minh Martin of ! Minh has a strong focus on high craft, which is evident in his approach to both form and surface.

From the artist:
“I work in blown glass seeking both beauty and functionality. I believe that well-executed craft is the antidote to the throw-away culture and that the objects we surround ourselves with should engage our affection and shape our identity. By making durable and precious objects, we enrich ourselves and ensuing generations.”

Minh and his wife, textile artist Anna Shapiro, opened Glass Hollow Studio in Afton Virginia last year on an 8 acre plot of land near their home. On the property is a glassblowing facility, along with a gallery carrying glass, ceramics, textiles, and other handcrafted items by a variety of amazing artists.

We’ve been working on creating some brand new jewelry styles for Fall, and we have some new textures, shapes, and colorways we’ve been playing with! Something special about the way we create our jewelry, is that no two pieces are ever exactly the same! We’re often changing the beads up or releasing one-off pendant shapes, but the thing that really sets our work apart is the hand-painted ceramic pieces we craft in the studio. With the same attention paid to each pendant or bead as is paid to our pottery, Claudia’s distinct visual identity is at the heart of each piece of Zeber-Martell jewelry.
