Bubba was a simple, kind, generous, warm person, who treated everyone he ever met like a friend. He would help anyone that needed it, had a dry sense of humor that was hilarious, and even though he was not intentionally doing anything, could fill a room with his quiet, genuine, old school presence. He was adored by everyone who took the time to get to know him; loved the people in his life, and it was the love they brought into it that filled his cup to the brim.
When my childhood friend Greg and his wife Melissa reached out to the Midnight Gallery with sadness in their souls at the loss of her father, they gave me the freedom to work from the heart to create his resting place.
A classic shaped glass vessel was chosen for it's simplicity and clean lines. Accents of golden holographic strands randomly weave between flakes of metallic garnet and color shifting holographic ruby red; while random twinkles of scarlet diamond dust wink across the black satin sky. A trinity of crystals wrapped in gold chain are modestly placed at the foot of the piece, representing the shimmering halo that will be lifted above his head to honor a life truly well lived. A custom two sided black satin satchel hand sewn by Mimi at DeWolf Style is gently bloused at the top like the petals of a black rose, and will hold Bubba's earthly presence until it is lovingly scattered in the Rocky Mountains and other places that brought him joy.
Rest in Paradise Bubba, thank you for lifting so many hearts on your jouney.
