Purchase glass art, fine gifts, or one of a kind premium glass urns for both people and pets while browsing in rich, elegant décor and ambiance. Moved from the original gallery location in Tama IA to new location at 637 Main Street in Ackley Iowa. The new store front was used to designate a specific retail area for glass art and fine gifts while still creating multiple artistic vignettes each with

a different decor and style to emphasize elegant decor and interior design. The space will be used to inspire all who enter and take them out of their ordinary experience if even for a moment. Groups and individuals can tour the gallery and purchase artwork. School students can tour to help develop creativity and artistic interest. Photographers can purchase time in the space to offer their clientele a convenient one stop location with multiple dramatic and interesting backdrops to create stunning and unique photographs. Grieving or terminally ill guests can come for a place of respite and to discuss the creation of personalized and custom memorials and urns hand crafted by local artists to help celebrate and remember their lives and accomplishments. A place of gathering that fosters peace, creativity, possibility and a higher quality of life. Donations and sponsors wishing to take part in the creation of something amazing are encouraged and appreciated. Together we can create something that will genuinely touch and change all who visit.

When a good friend who passionately hates clowns tells you about the character "Twisty" from American Horror Story; and you just happen to make custom life size props as a side gig at the Midnight Gallery... 😄

Candy Zacharias Crowl went above and beyond to hide in the garage and video Bret Crowl's real time reaction to unexpectedly encountering a custom 6'3" tall clown horror prop version of the character when he pressed the garage door opener-planning to pull in and enjoy a quiet evening at home after a busy day at work as a Registered Nurse. If you Listen closely, you might even hear some muffled unsavory language coming from inside the car at the moment of discovery lol.

Gypsy was Lexie’s best friend. She chose her as a puppy, and they went through all of life’s good times and challenges together growing up as family. As Gypsy got older, the day eventually came when Lexie had to make the hardest decision ever. She reached out to the Midnight Gallery asking for a special resting place in pink, purple and black to honor this little love, and cradle her in eternal slumber.

Greatest Companion is a tall glass cylindrical vessel, with a decorative chrome base and lid. Silver holographic strands with pearl white mica and lilac diamond dust begin the composition; where iridescent baby pink, fuchsia, violet, and several shades of purple shimmer like fireworks in a satin black sky. Rings of glistening ab crystal in silver chain represent Gypsy’s new Angelic collar; and she rests inside soft, padded, crushed velvet. Their hearts can send each other messages of love back across the Rainbow Bridge through the tiny crystal ball on the top.

Dave was a simple, kind, and loving person who loved fishing. He was a retired Denver, Colorado Police Officer that was well liked, respected, and no one had an unkind word to say about him. No fuss, just one of those genuine, down to earth, good people that are so rare these days and that the world will miss now that he is gone.

Seven contacted the Midnight Gallery seeking a special resting place for Dave that would feature colors that reminded him of things that were both meaningful in his brother's life and would also memorialize the times they shared together. As he looks at the blend, Seven's heart can recall the personal meaning behind each hue; while others who may not have had the pleasure of knowing Dave can feel still feel uplifted and inspired by the artistic composition.

An unpretentious, column shape with a basic handle on the lid forms the glass canvas, where metallic strands and flakes of gold and pearl white mica peek through glistening iridescent versions of sky and royal blue, violet, deep purple, lilac, crimson, mirror gold, yellow, burnt orange, and holographic green; with just a hint of chrome silver and diamond dust as surprise accents. All float in a deep, satin black background. Strands of ab crystals in golden chain adorn the top and bottom, randomly flickering hints of the colors in the body of the piece, while Dave quietly rests inside a black satin drawstring satchel surrounded by a soft, padded crushed velvet liner.

Rest in Paradise Dave, celebrate a life well lived that served others.

For my compassionate friends and followers, if you have a moment to float up a prayer or two, I know someone who will be broken-hearted and need them later this afternoon when she has to send both her kitties over the Rainbow Bridge due to rapidly declining health issues.

Christina got Zeus and Nelson as kittens within a few weeks of each other over 10 years ago. Zeus was the OG, but when their family learned about Nelson having been attacked by an aggressive animal leaving his lower jaw damaged, they opened their hearts to giving him a home with the special care he would need for the rest of his life; and the two became inseparable “brothers” that have been side by side ever since.

Zeus is usually the chill kitty, just walking around elegant and affectionate, quietly sitting on the counter waiting for someone to turn the faucet to a drizzle so he can “drink from the fountain,” climbing inside anything he can turn into a fort and peek out of, and doing his job of being a palpable “presence”…until he decides it is time for his spontaneous circus act of jumping from the second floor balcony onto the first floor couch after a bout of the zoomies. Nelsen is the character of the two, eternally curious, getting in the middle of everybody’s everything, having to sample all the other animals’ food, climbing on Christina’s head after the beauty shop so he can smell her hair, sitting with his front legs sticking straight out in impossible positions, and loudly meowing his opinion about whatever is going on around him. Both snuggle in and purr like fine-tuned engines if given the opportunity to enjoy some attention and affection.

Per her request to the Midnight Gallery, Nelly’s resting place is a combination of satin black and pearl white backed by mirror gold to give it a rich, creamy appearance. Silver metallic strands, holographic diamond dust, and flakes of pearl mica add a touch of sparkle, and strips of elegant black and clear crystals define the separation of the colors. Zoobie’s resting place features the same beautiful green as his hypnotic eyes, which are his defining characteristic. Accents of golden metallic strands, holographic gold diamond dust, and pearl white mica complement the design and pay homage to the detail in his fur; while crystals in golden chain represent his Angelic collar. A satin black background and matching shaped glass tie the two together in slumber, and the inside of each features a richly padded black velvet liner.

Rest in Paradise Zeus and Nelsen, thank you for the priceless love you shared over the years. We will miss you more than you know.

Hold your space water, the custom Midnight Gallery life size aquatic Angler Alien prop is making waves with his aggressive attitude. Standing just over 6' tall, he features a completely overhauled Ghoulish Productions Angler Fish head, rare Zagone Studios, LLC webbed beast gloves modified to match, a fully poseable wire frame body, iridescent cape, and uniformed via multiple trips to the Iowa Falls CWU Thrift Store. Wet in the world was I thinking?

Transported via the Galactic Shuttle, the Crimson Alien appeared at the Midnight Gallery late in the night. Fully poseable 6' tall wire frame, generic head customized in candy red over mirror gold with scarlet diamond dust and infinite coats of clear for depth. Modified Zagone Studios, LLC alien hands to match, iridescent cape, and uniform pieced together at Iowa Falls CWU Thrift Store. He was starry eyed to see so many of his friends here.

Becky Norman was a friend and fellow artist. She created over 500 of her custom garden posts and countless other items that people enjoy to this day. Her elaborate garden and koi ponds made it fun for the little kids and adults alike to walk by the yard and imagine they were exploring an enchanted wood.

She and Steve were dedicated supporters of the Midnight Gallery and commissioned over 30 custom pieces of my artwork. One of them was this pre-planned Urn for the "someday" when she would eventually need it. Unfortunately, that day came much sooner than anyone would realize. I had the honor of being asked to place her inside it myself and set up the display for her visitation and funeral.

Fully poseable wire frame body, overhauled head, and reworked hands by Zagone Studios, LLC; with space duds compiled through multiple visits to the Iowa Falls CWU Thrift Store. Says his favorite candy bar is Milky Way.

Hot off the Alien conveyor belt, the latest life-sized custom Midnight Gallery horror prop; featuring a rare Ghoulish Productions Hybrid mask sculpted by Jordu Schell, then overhauled with a new paint job and epoxy accents. Zagone Studios dinosaur creature hands repainted in new colors and claws, and a one-off cosmic knight uniform. 6'2" tall, fully poseable body and fingers. Out of this world!
