Available for acquisition: a rare and significant work by Goh Beng Kwan from my private collection, where it has remained since 1984.

This painting is part of the artist's highly regarded Tea Series, an innovative body of work that incorporated tea into his collage practice, reflecting his continual experimentation with materials and process. Works from this important series are represented in the collection of the National Gallery.

Distinguished by its bold composition and dramatic use of negative space, this work possesses a commanding presence that sets it apart within the series. Both visually compelling and historically significant, it offers collectors a rare opportunity to acquire a mature example from one of Singapore's most respected modern artists.

Precisely why Hoisington Galleries will be approachable , human, permission to enter environment where all can enjoy art and come as they are. The art market while it is formidable has also segregated art lovers for art sake. Not art as currency. May we find a happy balance.

Why galleries spend millions on beautiful spaces and then make everyone afraid to enter them.
